In this project we develop a sensor for the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in exhaled air. The breath gas sensor is based on high-sensitivity and high-specificity molecular spectroscopy in the millimeter-wave range. Breath gas analysis is a promising non-invasive tool for medical diagnosis.
